1 Get into a basement, fast.
2 If you don’t have a basement but your neighbours do, get in theirs.
3 If you and your neighbours don’t have a basement, get into a clear space.
4 You are less likely to be hurt by falling objects if you are in a clearing,
a backyard with no trees as far away from the house as possible,
or even an open football field.
5 In your safety place lie down flat on your stomach.
6 If you are in your house, get out fast.
7 If you are in a mobile home, abandon it completely,
mobile homes are easily lifted off the ground.
8 If you are in your house and the lights go out make sure
you have a flashlight at an easy place to get it.
9 Usually the first thing to be torn off most houses
is the satellite dish, so don't bother calling for help.
