What is a tornado?
Tornadoes are part of a group of disasters called natural disasters. Other disasters in this group include avalanches, bush fires, typhoons and so many more.
A tornado is a vertical vortex of swirling air extending from a thunderstorm to the ground. In simpler terms a tornado is a big cloud full of swirling air, with one end on the ground and the other end in a storm cloud. A tornado is very dangerous.
